Specialising in producing original soundscapes for animated film, I can write in many styles and genres, from sweeping orchestral scores to quirky melodic theme tunes.
I have worked with a variety of studios, independent artists and students alike for a diverse array of projects; from film scores and game level themes to podcasts and trailers.
It was after graduating from the University of Sunderland with a post graduate diploma in Animation and Design that I discovered my passion for helping breathe further life into animation with music and sound effects.
Over the years I have dabbled in the visual arts too – illustration, graphic design and animation. I am well versed when it comes to video editing and compositing, and I’ve helped out with tweaking a few films from time to time. So if any alterations are needed while I am scoring to your film, I have you covered.
I have also written several articles and co-hosted a few podcasts for Skwigly Animation Magazine.
When I am not composing or playing Piano, you’ll likely find me at an animation festival somewhere!

A complete sound design service; from simple character beats to punctuate key actions, to full detailed realistic soundscapes featuring layers upon layers of sound effects.
Audio Editing & Mastering
I can also provide services such as audio clean-up (for spoken word, vocals or music), enhancing exisiting audio to improve clarity, editing audio (your tracks, audio from film, etc) and a full mastering service.
